If you’re wondering what might make a good all-rounder womens bike for conversion, it’s hard to go past the Liv Rove Disc (see specs on the Giant website here)
This well appointed hybrid bike is designed to commute well on the road, and be versatile enough to take on paths and trails.
With SunTour suspension forks, hydraulic disc brakes, Shimano drivetrain and a lightweight ALUXX frame, this bike is both sporty and practical, and a great quality base for an e-bike.
Retailing from $599 – $1299 (depending on the specs you want), we package these up with our hub or mid-mount Conversion Kits, to give you a quality e-bike, set up the way you want it, for much less than a factory version, and it’s MADE IN AUSTRALIA!
All mid-drive REV-bikes come complete with Shift Sensor (to cut power during changing of gears, reducing chain wear), and all systems have a brake cutout sensor, 5 levels of pedal assistance, and an LCD display (mid-drives have colour displays).
250w kits are set up to be road-legal, so they come without a throttle (pedal assist only), and have the motor speed limited to 25km/h. Throttles can be added if required, though are not road-legal.
500w – 1000w bikes are set up with a thumb throttle, usually on the left side of the handlebars, without any artificial speed limitation (motor will be capable of 40+ km/h).
These bikes are made to order, and are available for free pick-up, or delivery across Melbourne metro for $50. Our Dealers will also source and supply these bikes on demand.
