This awesome Holstar Grand Tourer 29″ Tandem is perfect for those people who enjoy spending time together, whilst exercising and having fun! We have built these up for couples, friends and family members, who want to experience the great outdoors, whilst enjoying cycling together.  It can also be very helpful for people with different abilities, to be able to cooperate and pool their energy together.

The tandem pictured is fitted with a 500w Rear Hub motor, with a 48v 20ah Frame battery (total price $4400), but you can choose different motor / battery options from our range of kits (prices include installation).

All alloy frame for lightweight package (19.5kg before electric assist added, electrics from just 4.5kg).

27 Speed with Deore rear derailleur and Rapid Fire shifters,- gearing for all occasions.

Shimano cable discs with 160mm, upgrade to hydraulic is possible if required.

Suntour NEX front shocks with lock-out for smooth riding.

29er Wheel set with Alex SX-44 D/W eyeleted rims, Shimano M475 hubs and S/S spokes, for strength, speed and smooth rolling.

Suntour XCR 48/38/28 crankset.

This excellent tandem bike can be electrified with any of our kits, but lends itself much better to the hub motor system (replacing the rear wheel with a motorised wheel).  We have 250w (road-legal) and 500w (more appropriate for carrying 2 people if very hilly, or if one rider has limited abilities).  Various battery options are available.  Prices begin from $3700 ($2200 for bike, than add one of our kits with install, from $1500)
